Build Your Handmade Wardrobe A Fit Workshop Series for Knitters & Crocheters (Starting September 19, 2026)
Cozy Wardrobe Edition
Ready to create garments you'll truly love to wear? Move beyond beginner projects and gain the confidence to make clothing that fits your body, your style, and your life.
Whether you knit or crochet, this guided workshop is designed to help you build the skills needed to confidently create wearable garments. Rather than following a single required class project, each participant chooses a garment that reflects their interests and goals and receives personalized guidance throughout the process.
Work alongside instructor Julene Fitch as she creates her own featured garment project while helping participants navigate fit, construction, and customization with confidence.
Throughout the workshop, you'll learn: Taking accurate body measurements, understanding fit and ease, choosing the appropriate size, reading garment schematics, swatching and gauge, yarn substitution, trying garments on as you work, modifying length and fit, troubleshooting common garment challenges, plus finishing techniques for polished results.
Whether your project is a sweater, cardigan, vest, tee, shirt, or another wearable garment, you'll leave with greater confidence - and the skills to tackle future garments on your own.
