Class Description:
In the third and final class of this beginning crochet series, Julene will guide you through crocheting in the round while creating a beginner-friendly beret. This class introduces you to several new techniques, including starting with a Magic Adjustable Ring (MAR) for a tight center, working in the Back Loop Only (BLO) for texture, and shaping your project using dc2tog (double crochet two together).
You’ll also reinforce previous skills like chaining, single crochet, half double crochet, and double crochet as you learn how these stitches come together in the round. Julene will provide clear, supportive instruction and practical tips for shaping and finishing your beret.
While most students will make significant progress in class, follow-up support is available via email for anyone who needs help completing their project. Students will leave with a nearly complete beret and the confidence to tackle more circular crochet projects in the future.
