Intro to Knitting for Adults (October 3 & 17, 2026)
Have you ever wanted to try knitting but didn’t know how to get started? Or has it been so long since you have touched needles that you feel like you have forgotten everything? Intro to knitting is for you! This 2-session series is designed for the brand-new knitter. Teens and adults are invited to explore & try the basics of knitting. We will cover not only basic stitches but also the foundations of knitting, including pattern reading and commonly used tools.
After the series, you will be prepared to continue learning through participation in Knitting 101 classes & Knitting Technique School.
Dates: October 3 & 17
Time: 10 AM - 12 PM
Fee: $50 for two 2-session series

1 100g skein / 220 yds of Cascade 220 Superwash
- Please do not select black, navy, or other dark colors for this project.
Needles:
- US size 8 straight
- Wood/ unlaminated bamboo recommended, such as the Clover brand
