Knitting 201: Pressed Flowers Kerchief (Saturday, Jan. 10 & 24; 12:30-3:30 pm)
Have you tried mosaic knitting? Learn this color work technique while creating a kerchief that can serve as anything from a headscarf to a shawl for a loved one’s doll. This modest-sized project uses just 2 50g skeins and knits up quickly with an addictive, rewarding motif. Learn from this project, then advance to some of the designer’s other projects in the Pressed Flowers line, OR take a deep dive into Mosaic knitting. Far simpler than it looks. Come and explore with us. In the middle of winter, who doesn’t need some flowers?
All Knimble knitters' classes include intentional instruction on universal knitting skills, including critical pattern reading, fit, gauge, modifying/customizing patterns, and fixing mistakes, within the meaningful context of the current project.
