Completion of Knit & Nest Classes 1 and 2 or familiarity with knit stitch, purl stitch, casting on and binding off, basic increasing and decreasing, reading a simple pattern, and confidence in handling stitches on needles.

In this final class, you’ll be introduced to knitting in the round, pattern-based shaping, and finishing techniques, including how to use circular and double-pointed needles (DPNs), join in the round and mark the beginning of your round, work basic increases and decreases, use stitch markers effectively, create I-Cord stems, and block your work for a professional finish.

Class Description:
In this final session of the Knit & Nest series, Julene will guide you through knitting your first hat—a simple, stylish beret worked in the round. You’ll learn to shape your work with increases and decreases, practice using both circular and double-pointed needles, and finish with an optional I-Cord stem for a classic French twist.
You’ll receive hands-on support for each new technique, troubleshooting help, shaping guidance, and finishing tips.
