Astrid Pillow (Tues. January 6 & 13; 5:30-7:30 PM)

The Astrid Pillow is a richly textured, modular crochet project featuring Anne’s Puff Stitch granny square motifs that are joined seamlessly into a striking 14" decorative cushion. Designed by Mallory Krall, this pattern uses mini skeins of fingering-weight yarn held together with worsted-weight yarn to create soft color transitions and beautifully layered texture.

Students will learn how to work puff-stitch motifs, follow a colorwork chart, maintain consistent square sizing, and use the continuous join-as-you-go method for a clean, polished finish. The project offers ample room for creativity, with endless possibilities for color variation using mini skeins or stash yarns.
