Jill will be teaching her popular Learn Gauge & Make It Fit class! 

What You’ll Learn:

*How & why gauge works, and why it's essential.

*How to correctly make and read a gauge swatch and use that information with a pattern. 

*What to do when the swatch doesn't match the pattern. 

*The basics of garment design and how it works with sizing. 

*The skills, tips, & techniques necessary to tailor a garment pattern specifically to your taste, size, and fit. 

Skill Requirements:

This is an informative class for knitters of all levels.  Participants should have experience with Casting On, Knitting, & Purling. 

No sweater knitting experience is needed.

*A free Knit Sisu pattern

*Class outline will be provided

Additional Materials Needed (Optional):

·  A knitted swatch: Using DK yarn and size US 7 or 8 needles, CO 30 sts, knit 2" in Stockinette Stitch.  Do not bind off. 

·  Bring your own previously worked gauge swatches, and/or a handknit garment to troubleshoot (either finished or still in progress)
