Knitting 301: Stria

A luscious cardigan that will become a prized wardrobe staple. Fisherman's Rib creates a squishy fabric that you'll love to have close to your skin. Throw it over short sleeves in spring or fall, or add extra warmth and coziness to long sleeves in winter. When worked in the recommended breed-specific Cormo yarn, the sweater handles like a dream and brings joy to any knitter, especially spinners. The Fisherman's Rib keeps you engaged in the process while thin stripes play together to create color variety. Designed in 2 colorways with specifically chosen buttons, this cardigan will bring joy to your hands and heart.

Unique to this series, not only will we create an amazing cardigan with fabulous breed-specific yarn, but special focus will be given at every step to troubleshooting problems, including prevention, how to quickly identify mistakes, their cause quickly, and how to fix them. Knitters will be encouraged to troubleshoot and correct issues independently.

Note: This sweater is a labor of love, a delight to create, a joy to watch emerge, and a trophy to wear.    As such, this class is a 301-level class and is designed for experienced knitters. Often, the most valuable prerequisite skills are determination, commitment, and desire. Knitting should bring us joy, not frustration. That's why the instructor strives to break things down into workable sections that are understandable and achievable for all, but this is not a beginner or early knitting project. If you have questions about whether this class is a fit for you, don't hesitate to contact the instructor directly.
