Yarnaceous is a small batch hand-dyed yarn company located in the gorgeous desert of Utah, nestled beside the Great Salt Lake. Owner and dyer Maggie Fangmann is a lover of Geology, prehistoric life, English literature, and yarn. About Yarnaceous Fibers

Yarnaceous Fibers is a small batch hand dyed yarn company located in the gorgeous desert of Utah, nestled beside the Great Salt Lake. Owner and dyeist, Maggie Fangmann, is a lover of Geology, prehistoric life, English literature and yarn! Maggie specializes in dyeing variegated yarns in a canvas of colorways, drawing inspiration from nature to design a beautifully subdued palette of neutrals and tonals. After years of dyeing and working with numerous yarn suppliers, we've sourced the most buttery soft merino wool yarns to share with you to create the most loved projects, garments and accessories. Our yarns have been meticulously sourced and come from mulesing free sheep.

Why choose fingering weight yarn?

Very fine gauged, fingering weight yarn can produce lovely openwork projects. This yarn can be used in a wide range of projects including socks, shawls, baby and adult garments, and accessories.
